Chris Sirianni ’08 (Information Technology) was recently featured in a 585 Magazine (585mag.com) article about the company he launched in 2019: IT Insights, a managed service provider that oversees customers’ information technology (IT) infrastructure and end-user systems. IT Insights largely serves customers between Bu alo and Syracuse but does business as far away as Florida and Texas. the 10s Jay Bucklin ’15 (Criminal Justice) is an o cer of the Geneva Police Department. He has been appointed to the community engagement team to help build relationships between the department and Geneva community. Brandon Grace ’14 (Criminal Justice) has been promoted to sergeant for the Penn Yan Police Department. Ragan Stevens ’11 (Nursing) was honored by UR Medicine ompson Health’s nursing leadership team with the Hospital Nurses of Distinction award during a celebration for National Nurses Week. Stephanie Gallo ’14 (Nursing) was awarded the Nurse of Distinction for Action by UR Medicine ompson Health’s nursing leadership team during a National Nurses Week celebration. Susan Shively ’15 (Nursing) received UR Medicine ompson Health’s Long-Term Care Nurse of Distinction in the category for preceptor, a reference to clinicians who supervise and mentor nursing students. Brody Hotelling ’15 (Criminal Justice), ’20 (Nursing) received the Long-Term Care Nurse of Distinction for Respect from UR Medicine ompson Health’s nursing leadership team during a celebration of National Nurses Week. Elijah Felix ’16 (Business Administration) has self-published a children’s book called “Craig and the Worries.” Patricia Solomon Brown ’17 (Business Administration) is starting a new career as a special education teacher. Anna (Frere) Tomion ’17 (Nursing) was honored with the Long-Term Care Nurse of Distinction for Service award by UR Medicine ompson Health’s nursing leadership team during a National Nurses Week celebration. Garrison Kuhl is currently the marketing manager at Fox Run Vineyards on Seneca Lake and assists other businesses with their media management. Garrison also recently got engaged. Ti any Nolin ’18 (Criminal Justice) is working as the school resource o cer at the South Seneca Elementary School Campus. Nicholas Balch ’18 (Liberal Arts and Sciences) started a new position at DelMonte Hotel Group as a sales account manager. He focuses on corporate sales for Marriott and Hilton hotel locations in Cleveland, Rochester, Philadelphia, and Albany. the 20s Derek Slywka ’20 (Liberal Arts/Humanities) went to rookie minicamps for the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers during the 2024 National Football League dra s. In June, the Indianapolis Colts signed him as an undra ed free agent wide receiver. Jaylea Ransom ’20 (Communications) received her bachelor’s from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2022 then became the FLCC Student Life specialist for marketing and special events. She has recently started her new role at FLCC as the digital communications specialist. Sarah Welkley ’20 (Culinary Arts) is an entrepreneur in Fair Haven, having opened her business, Sweets by Sarah Bakery. She also received recognition for Best and Sweetest New Business in Cayuga County in 2022. Rachel Boock ’22 (Criminal Justice) ’24 (Law Enforcement) has joined the Newark Police Department following completion of the Finger Lakes Law Enforcement Academy Basic School for Police O cers. Anthony Rampulla ’22 (Horticulture: Cannabis Biology and Cultivation) is currently working on an independent research project to determine pollen shelf-life in cold storage for the American Chestnut Restoration Project.
