The Lyons native told the Finger Lakes Times that he wants to distinguish his final years in politics before retiring by helping ensure that elections are conducted in an orderly manner. Alice (Montondo) Sharp ’89 (Word Processing) is currently the assistant treasurer for the village of Newark. Timothy Montondo ’88 (Liberal Arts) is currently the director of customer care for ENALAS and Eisco Scientific in Victor. Eisco is a manufacturer of science products. the 90s Lisa McAnn ’93 (Nursing) is an FLCC associate professor in nursing with over 15 years of service. She was awarded the 2023 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in May. Her achievements include creating two case studies for a Dutch healthcare and research company and a national award for her exemplary teaching strategies that prepare students for the nursing exam. Heather Williams ’94 (Nursing) spent the past 10 years working at F.F. Thompson Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation and Pulmonary Disease Management Program. She has taken a new position at UR Medicine Thompson Health Shortsville Family Practice as an adultgerontology primary care nurse practitioner. Alumni honored for spring show The Theatre Association of New York State recognized the spring theatre production, “The Ragged Middle: Twisted Tales of Infinity and Powdered Donuts,” a collection of 14 short plays, with three awards: • Excellence in Direction to Jim Perri • Excellence in Ensemble Acting to the company • Excellence in Technical Design and Execution to Kathryn Snyder ’08, Jeff Kidd ’05, Brandon Wyand ’18 and Jim Perri Jim, FLCC technical theatre and auditorium manager, took inspiration for the off-beat approach from “The Twilight Zone,” a science fiction TV series that ran from 1959 to 1964. The plays are a mix of dramas and comedies, some by award-winning playwrights, and four that Jim wrote. The awards are listed on the TANYS website at www.tanys.org and will be given out at the TANYS Annual Festival in November.
