the 90s Murray Bauer ’94 (Natural Resources Conservation) was appointed assistant special agentin-charge of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service, Office of Law Enforcement for the Pacific Islands Division in October. His responsibilities include overseeing enforcement activities that span 1.5 million square nautical miles of the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone. In addition, Murray manages investigations related to violations of international treaties and agreements on the high seas. the 00s Alison Hethcoat ’01 (Natural Resources Conservation) received a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from Grand Canyon University and plans to complete a master's degree at the University of San Diego in inclusive learning-special education and universal specialization this spring. Alison has two young daughters. Elisha Everson ’02 (Business Administration) received the 2023 ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award. Elisha is operations manager for Simco HR, the former Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua president, and the program chair of the Finger Lakes Division of the New York District of Kiwanis International. Nash Bock ’06 (Music Recording Technology), ’14 (Computer Science) has taken a new post as senior director of affiliate tithe and global engagement for Habitat for Humanity International. He was selected as one of the Rochester Business Journal 40 Under 40 honorees, recognizing people for their professional achievements, service to the community, and dedication to making change in the Rochester community. 22 | theLAKER Keith Murphy ’75 (Natural Resources Conservation) and his wife, Marge, held a 6th reunion of alumni and professors of conservation and horticulture in September.
