Daniel Rizzieri ’11 2010, 2011 Track and Field Dan Rizzieri, a double below-knee amputee, was recognized for perseverance as a track and field student-athlete, his record-setting accomplishments, and his commitment to coaching. In outdoor track and field, he specialized in the long and triple jumps. In 2010, at the NJCAA Division III National Championships, he established an enduring FLCC school record with a triple jump of 13.61 meters (44 feet 8 inches). Dan contributed significantly to the U.S. Paralympic Team for track and field from 2009 to 2017. He has been head coach of the Wayland-Cohocton High School boys varsity outdoor track team since 2014. 20 | theLAKER Athletic Hall of Fame Corey Grace ’15 2014, 2015 Men’s Lacrosse The Athletics Department recognized Corey Grace for his dedication to lacrosse and his leadership on the field. Corey left an indelible mark on the FLCC program, shattering records, receiving honorable mentions, and achieving Second Team All-Conference status. In 16 games his freshman year, Corey scored 9 goals and delivered 20 assists. In his sophomore year, Corey amassed 41 assists and 26 goals, propelling the team to an historic 13-4 record, the most wins in program history. In 2018, he became a village of Penn Yan police officer and serves as the assistant coach for a boy’s modified lacrosse team. Jack Timerson ’13 2012, 2013 Men’s Lacrosse Jack Timerson was honored for his leadership as a team captain and talent as a student-athlete. As a lefty attackman, Jack made an immediate impact on the Lakers’ offense during his freshman year, contributing 31 goals and 29 assists. In his sophomore year, Jack emerged as one of the most dominant players in NJCAA men’s lacrosse. His skills and leadership qualities earned him the titles of team captain and team MVP in 2013. Jack’s season culminated with a staggering 79 goals and 120 points, a feat that led the nation and cemented his legacy as an elite player.
