Phillip Precourt ’08 (Liberal Arts and Sciences: Humanities) graduated with a bachelor of arts in history with an education minor from Nazareth College in 2008, and then a master’s in adolescent inclusive education with a severe and multiple disabilities minor from Nazareth College in 2011. He is currently a special education teacher at Geneva High School where he has worked for the past three years. Andrew Roblee ’08 (Music) earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Wells College in 2011 and a master’s degree in historic preservation planning from Cornell University in 2017. He currently works at Environmental Design and Research as a project architectural historian. Lindsay (Gill) DeSantis ’09 (Registered Nursing) is the burn program manager at Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America in Denver, Colo. She has a master’s degree in clinical systems leadership. Elizabeth (Snyder) Eill ’09 (Biotechnology/ Science) earned a doctorate in immunology from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse in December 2019. She currently works as a CAR-T scientist at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Professional Scientific Services in Spring House, Pa. the 10s Thomas Button ’10 (Architectural Design and Drafting) continued his education at Alfred State and earned a bachelor of science in architectural technology in 2013, and concluded his graduate education with a master’s degree with a focus on sustainability at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2016. He is currently employed by Passero Associates where he has worked for the past five years and is an architectural designer. Kyle Consolie ’13 (Sports and Tourism Studies) completed a degree in marketing at SUNY Brockport and has worked at startups in the Washington, D.C. and northern Virginia area since earning his degree. Amber (Norton) Flanagan ’13 (Childhood Education and Teaching Assistant CRT) earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational management at Keuka College. Today she is an assistant vice president branch manager at a local financial institution. James Froio ’13 (New Media) graduated with a bachelor’s degree in cinema production from Ithaca College. He wrote and directed two feature-length projects, both of which found homes on Amazon Prime. In addition, he has continued to gain experience in TV production, working at the PBS station WCNY in Syracuse. Currently, he lives in Atlanta, Ga., where he works for CNN and is also developing a new film project. Melissa (Oleniuk) Lavery ’13 (Environmental Studies) graduated from Morrisville State College in 2016 with a bachelor of technology degree in renewable resources. She works as an engineering technician for Osmose Utilities Services. Ryan Vogt ’13 (Computer Science/ Engineering Science) recently earned a doctorate in applied mathematics from North Carolina State University. During his doctoral studies, he was a Givens Associate at Argonne National Laboratory. He will soon be starting as a mathematician at the Department of Defense. Ryan was featured in the spring edition of the Laker. Shawn Smith ’09 (Natural Resources Conservation), ’10 (Fisheries Technologies) is the lead diesel mechanic at Chemung County Highway Department where he supervises the maintenance shop. Matthew Brown ’11 (Social Sciences) is currently the director of admissions and financial aid at St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry in Rochester and a graduate student at SUNY Brockport. Chelsea (Rackmyer) Metzger ’11 (Paralegal) received her bachelor of science in business administration in 2016 from SUNY Brockport. She now works at Gleason Works as a service parts representative. Nathan Schrlau ’11 (Criminal Justice) is a police officer with the Salisbury Police Department. Michele (Watkins) Warner ’11 (Natural Resources Conservation) is a cartographer for Maine inland fisheries and wildlife. She obtained a master’s degree at Unity College, Maine. She is the only woman cartographer for inland fisheries and wildlife. Alyssa Johnson ’12 (Natural Resources Conservation), ’14 (Environmental Studies) completed a bachelor’s degree in wildlife management at SUNY Cobleskill. She currently works at Montezuma Audubon Center. Stephanie Maus ’12 (Social Sciences) graduated with a bachelor’s degree in general studies with a concentration in communications from Southern New Hampshire University in May 2020. She currently works for Optima Health as a performance management analyst II.
