The-Laker-Issue-Spring-2022
flcc foundation U P D A T E As the new development coordinator at FLCC, I am looking forward to working with our amazing alumni, donors and friends. Born and raised in Canandaigua, I have moved twice to other states but always came back – I think it is the beautiful lake. I spent most of my time as a youth camping and growing as a leader through the Boy Scouts, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. After high school, I attended FLCC, earned my associate degree and joined the workforce. FLCC was a great choice for me. As a senior at Canandaigua Academy, I wasn’t sure what to study, but the Admissions Office really helped me find a path. I spent the next two years building relationships that last to this day, and some of my favorite professors became my coworkers: Melissa Miller and Maureen Owens (now retired). My wife, Stephanie, and I have four children, ages 13, 11, 10 and 3. We are busy renovating the 170-year-old farmhouse we recently bought in Canandaigua and making plans to add an orchard this spring. As I settle into my new job, I am learning more about the College and my fellow alumni.
