WilliamThomson ’11 (Communications) was promoted to team lead for client experience operations at Rocket Pro TPO, a wholesale mortgage lender, in July 2021. Andrew Ten Eyck ’11 (Humanities) accepted the position of policy analyst at API (American Petroleum Institute) in July 2021. Khristina Groover ’12 (Business Administration) accepted the position of citizens banker at Citizens Bank following seven years at First Heritage Credit Union. Teresa Roy ’12 (Humanities) accepted the position of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Specialist I, Training at Enel North America, a renewable energy company. Ciolo Barazandeh ’13 took on a new role at Purdue University in the Group Performance Environments Research Laboratory in August 2021. Courtney Leigh Cobb ’13 (Science) accepted the position of acquisition editor at Kendall Hunt Publishing Company in August 2021. Zachary DeBoard ’14 moved to Austin, Texas, to accept the position of testing technician at Grifols, a medical products and service company, in August 2021. Patrick Lischak ’14 (Hotel and Resort Management) has accepted the position of project manager at Johnson-Lancaster and Associates, a food service equipment company based in Florida. Paige Stryker ’14 (Humanities) became the IT project manager at Novant Health in January 2022. Sarah McEvoy ’15 (Liberal Arts and Sciences) accepted the position of event and program manager at Buffalo Niagara Partnership. Patrick Carroll ’15 (Viticulture and Wine Technology) was promoted to distiller at Black Button Distilling in October 2021, following two years at the company. Nathan VanEpps ’16 (Culinary Arts) is currently a carpenter at Shortridge Construction Company. Dallas Zebrowski ’17 (Liberal Arts and Sciences) is continuing his education as a legal intern at Mishimoto. Trevor Bradshaw ’18 (Sports Studies) became a financial analyst at Novelis in July 2021. Anna Bright ’18 (Business Administration) made the career move to become a menu specialist at CaterTrax in August 2021. Ben Blakely ’19 (Communications) graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and broadcasting. With his work at the on-campus radio station (89.1 The Point), Ben earned five New York State Broadcasters Awards and also finished second in the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) for his play-by-play work broadcasting the Brockport men’s basketball team’s run to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division III Tournament. He is working toward a master’s degree in digital journalism at St. Bonaventure University. Stephen Chamot ’19 (Business Administration) accepted the position of staff tax accountant at Mengel, Metzer, Barr and Co. in October 2021. Rhonne Fagner ’19 (Culinary Arts) is currently working as an assistant manager at Kindred Fare Restaurant in Geneva. Rhonne edits menus, runs day-to-day operations, and handles the social media for the business. the 20s Sarah Farrow ’21 (Environmental Studies) started working at University of Rochester’s microbiology lab. She is also taking a digital program for data science through Woz-U. In Memoriam WilliamH. DeCamp III , one of the first College administrators, passed away on Oct. 27, 2021 at age 86. Bill was one of seven administrators at the time the College, known then as Community College of the Finger Lakes (CCFL), opened for full-time, credit-bearing classes on Feb. 1, 1968. His wife, Marcia, joined the faculty in September 1968 to teach secretarial science. Bill served as director of counseling for nearly a quarter century until his retirement in 1991. While at FLCC, he also served as chairman of the Faculty Association. He graduated from Geneseo Central School, attended Williams College and graduated from SUNY Geneseo. He received his master’s degree fromMichigan State University. Both Bill and Marcia spoke at the College’s 50th anniversary celebration in 2018. He was well remembered by his students and friends for his humor and wit. In his retirement, he enjoyed designing themed gardens for friends and family.
