Greetings, alumni! The pandemic has made us think about our connections with important people and causes in our lives. We would like to touch base with you, our alumni and friends, to see how we can work together in the future. Do you have fond memories of your time at FLCC? Would you like to mentor a current student, plan a class reunion, host a networking event, or help in other ways? We have put together a survey to gather your thoughts. Please take a moment to fill it out a t flcc.edu/foundation. We also want to share your news, whether it’s the birth of a child, an engagement or wedding, a new job, a promotion or retirement. Did you recently win an award? Or have an awesome life experience? Enter your updates on a form at flcc.edu/foundation or email alumni@flcc.edu . Finally, I hope you will join me in making a donation on Thursday, May 5, FLCC’s Laker Day of Giving, to replenish the College’s student emergency funds. These funds were set up by generous donors whose focus was on keeping FLCC students enrolled despite financial hardship. As we end the second full year of the pandemic, our students continue to face financial struggles related to COVID-19 and other life issues. With your support, we can continue to help them with car repairs, medical bills, housing, tuition, books, and other expenses. Thank you for all you do to support your fellow alumni and the FLCC community.
