Congratulations to the FLCC Class of 2022 and welcome to the FLCC Alumni Association! The Alumni Association has great benefits, and we’re looking forward to seeing you at upcoming alumni networking events and following your journey forward. Alumni events resumed in 2022 with a variety of opportunities to reconnect. In April, we hosted the first of many alumni events at Young Lion Brewing in Canandaigua. In May, we had an alumni gathering to cheer on the Lakers baseball game. Former players returned to FLCC to check out the new turf field and watch the Lakers’ victory over Tompkins Cortland Community College. After the game, we gathered at Star Cider where the former players shared stories of their time playing for FLCC. July brought us an alumni wine tasting event at the FLCC Viticulture and Wine Center. The wine tasting was a sold-out event, and alumni received a first-hand look at the beautiful viticulture center while tasting student-made wines. In September, we ventured out to a Rochester Red Wings game together. More terrific alumni events are being planned for 2023, including an Amerks game and Bristol Mountain ski night in February. In addition, FLCC Athletics is hoping to bring former athletes more opportunities to return to campus and interact with current team members. Check our online calendar at flcc.edu/alumni-association to see the events we have planned. On a final note, Giving Tuesday is coming up on Nov. 29, 2022. Giving Tuesday is a 24-hour giving challenge to benefit current FLCC students in need. I am asking you to not only make a gift during the day but to also be an advocate for this special cause. After making your gift, please share on social media and through your personal network. If you are interested in getting involved to increase your impact and raise money for your preferred fund, please contact Development Coordinator Justin Kuczma, justin.kuczma@flcc.edu. Regards, Marci Muller ’81 President, Alumni Association CLASS notes
