30 | the LAKER Katie Zebrowski ’13 (Criminal Justice) was honored as the 2020 Officer of the Year at the Penn Yan Police Department. Officer Zebrowski began her career in law enforcement in 2014 at the department. In 2020 she assisted in saving two people in two different incidents who had overdosed. Her fast response time in administering Narcan and providing CPR is credited to saving both individuals. She is also a certified taser instructor and a member of the Crisis Intervention Team. Alex Aronson ’13 (Communications) is producer and host of “Campfire Creepies,” a weekly show on the mobile app Airtime, where he reacts to some of the scariest videos on the internet. He earned his B.S. degree at Syracuse University Newhouse in 2016 and plans to launch a lifestyle series on YouTube. Randy Agness ’13 (Viticulture and Wine Technology) Agness Wine Cellars’ 2018 Finger Lakes Semi-Dry Riesling received an 87 rating fromWine Spectator magazine in November 2020, placing it among the top three Rieslings in New York state. Since the company’s founding in 2015, Agness Wine Cellars has received more than 30 medals and other recognitions in regional, national and international wine competitions, including a nomination for 2020 New York Winery of the Year. Randy Agness is the winemaker at Agness Wine Cellar and is a degreed chemist. In addition to attending FLCC, he earned a master of science degree from SUNY Oswego. Jamie Yarrow ’13 (Business Administration) was promoted to project manager at Reliant Credit Union. She joined Reliant in 2003 and most recently served as manager of the Sodus branch. Jessica Shaffer Coon ’15 (Nursing) was named nurse manager of emergency services at Finger Lakes Health. She has been with Finger Lakes Health for four years, starting as a staff nurse at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital. In 2019, she was promoted to emergency department clinical coordinator. She also earned a B.S. in nursing from the College at Brockport. Alyssa Rasbeck Becker ’15 (Paralegal) joined the Ragsdale Liggett paralegal team in its Raleigh, North Carolina office. She previously worked with Muehe, Maue & Robinson and Boylan Code LLP in Canandaigua. Ashley McCaffrey ’15 (Viticulture and Wine Technology) assumed the role of assistant winemaker at Fox Run Vineyards, which is the first changing of the guard in half a decade for the winery production team. She has also had experience at Sheldrake Point Winery, Three Brothers Wineries, and Saint Clair Family Estates in Marlborough, New Zealand. McCaffrey has even dabbled in craft beer production and cider making. Cade Curbeau (Computer Science) joined Greenridge Generation LLC as a device technician in data center operation. He works closely with network and device engineers and is currently studying mechanical engineering at the University at Buffalo. Diana Perry ’17 (Business Administration) has been named community office manager at the Canandaigua National Bank & Trust Co.’s Geneva branch office. Perry joined CNB with 20 years of experience. While at FLCC, she was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa and Alpha Beta Gamma honor societies. Samantha Gentilcore ’18 (Accounting) married in October 2019. Nicholas Cali ’19 (Natural Resources Conservation: Law Enforcement) is currently pursuing a B.S. degree in forestry at the University of Maine. Colton Cayward ’19 (New Media) recently completed an undergraduate degree at Ithaca College with majors in cinema and photography. Aaron Shoemaker ’19 (Sports Studies) is currently pursuing a degree in sports management at Ithaca College. Jasmine Morrow ’19 (Business Administration) is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree at Ithaca College. Marcy Mitchell ’19 (Business Administration) was recently promoted to branch manager of Reliant Credit Union in Canandaigua. the 20s Laura Bagley ’21 (Nursing) was recognized at the March meeting of the Yates County Legislature as a Distinguished Youth Award winner for 2020. After being homeschooled for K-12, Laura recently graduated from the nursing program.
