The FLCC community came together during the matching gift challenge to raise money for FLCC students impacted by COVID-19. In the last academic year, the FLCC Foundation was able to disperse $47,147 in COVID-19 relief funding to students experiencing financial crisis due to job loss or health-related issues. In addition, the Foundation provided $36,542 to students experiencing non-COVID-19 related crises. This included $2,177 in repayable loans and $29,498 in one-time grant funding. Your contribution to the Barb Etzel Student Emergency Loan Fund, the Bridge Scholarship, COVID-19 Relief, Jane E. Bacher Emergency Grant, or the Food Cupboard Fund gave FLCC students the funding needed to get them through unexpected challenges without interfering with their academic journey.
